Technology Transfer Program
Kentucky’s Technology Transfer Program (T2) promotes efficiency in Kentucky’s transportation system by providing workshops and training events, newsletters, how-to manuals, new and existing technology updates, legislative and regulatory news, on-site technical assistance, and access to the only transportation library in the Commonwealth.
Kentucky’s T2 Program is designated a Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) by the Federal Highway Administration. Similar centers exist in the 50 states, Puerto Rico and centers have been established to serve Native American Tribal governments (TTAP).
Each year, T2 presents an average of 320 workshops attended by more than 8,000 participants. This training can be a valuable benefit for companies. Training not only offers qualification for public employees, it also significantly enhances their professionalism in dealing with and serving the public. In addition, staff are more likely to stay when their organization invests in their future.
